Community Energy Coalition member, National Trust, is hosting a number of special Green Living events from Saturday 13th September to Sunday 28th September. Many of these coincide with the national Heritage Open Days weekend (13th -14th September) and are free to enter.

Take a look behind the scenes and discover how sustainability has been at the heart of life at Hardwick since Elizabethan times. There’ll be talks about the modern technologies that are producing clean, green energy on the estate today including solar collectors and a biomass boiler. You can also enjoy seasonal tasters in the vegetable gardens. This Green Living day, in partnership with Good Energy and the Centre for Sustainable Energy, is all about sharing what's been learnt at this special place so that you can have a go too.
