Community Energy Coalition member, National Trust, is hosting a number of special Green Living events from Saturday 13th September to Sunday 28th September. Many of these coincide with the national Heritage Open Days weekend (13th -14th September) and are free to enter.

Come and discover how innovation and energy are at the heart of the mill, and how they’re recreating history by generating power today. Storytellers will be spinning yarns about the mill’s past, and you can follow the clues to discover more on an energy trail. Green technologies at the mill include an under-construction Kaplan hydroelectric turbine, historic steam engines and one of the most powerful working waterwheels in Europe.

Green Living day, in partnership with Good Energy and the Centre for Sustainable Energy, is all about sharing what's been learnt at this special place so you can have a go too.
